The Lake here on the Estate has been described as perhaps the finest small dry-fly lake in Derbyshire. In summer the lake abounds with natural fly life and the evening rises are often spectacular, ensuring you a relaxing Morning or Afternoon.

The lake opens from 9.00 a.m. and closes at dusk. The number of rods are strictly limited to six and therefore booking is essential. Booking is arranged by telephoning the gunroom on (01335) 330247. The bag limit is three fish, which are your first three fish caught. Thereafter catch and release on barbless hooks a further five fish. Extra fish may be purchased.

As shooting often takes place on the estate you are respectively requested to obey any signs directing you to the lake by alternative routes.
